If you purchased a home in 2008 which is you primary residence and have not applied for the Florida Homestead Exemption, I suggest that you go ahead and do it now. Although you have until March 1, 2009 to apply, don’t be a procrastinator and leave it until the last minute or worse yet, forget to file.
